UsePsychology can help to get more clarity on an individual’s learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs through contextualised assessment and consultation in areas such as:

  • Literacy/Numeracy - identifying needs and developing strategies to support learning in these areas

  • Attention control/Organisation/Memory -exploring a young person’s skills to identify areas of strength and areas for development

UsePsychology can help to find strategies for supporting emotional well being such as:

  • Worry - Feeling worried is a normal natural response to new, changing, uncertain and stressful situations, for example, Exam stress, making the transition to a new job, school, home or country.

  • Anger - Anger is not necessarily a negative emotion, although it can be a challenging one. Use Psychology to explore ways to manage this emotion

  • Grief, Loss and Change - UsePsychology works with individual adults and young people to guide their journey through Grief, Loss and Change using a variety of intervention including the Grief Recovery Method ©. Group work for adults and young people can also be delivered in this area where required.
